Knowledge and Information

The article studies the role of fundamental concepts and principles from the viewpoint of the reliability of applied intelligent systems. It subsequently defines knowledge, data and information and formulates the necessary fundamental principles, which differ somewhat from earlier formulations. The concept of knowledge-related informational value is defined and compared to the (classical) concept of the measure of information.
