Sean Watts

Prof. Watts teaches U.S. Constitutional, Criminal, and International Law courses at Creighton University Law School in Omaha, Nebraska. He is also a reserve faculty member assigned to the Department of Law at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Prior to teaching, Prof. Watts served in a variety of legal assignments as a Judge Advocate and as an Armor Officer in a United States Army tank battalion. Recently, he served as a defense team member at the International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia.

Prof. Watts was a key contributor to the Tallinn Manual project as a member of the International Group of Experts as well as a Legal Group Facilitator. He has agreed to extend his commitment to the Centre by becoming one of the four external experts on the Tallinn 2.0 project. Prof. Watts has also been an invited speaker at CyCon and the International Law of Cyber Operations Seminar.
